Volkan Ünalmış showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Travassos in the 14th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reijo Enola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Barry Kent got a free kick in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Travassos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volkan Ünalmış prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Manfredo Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Barry Kent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luís Eduardo Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 played minutes, Belo Academy's Adhemar Penha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Volkan Ünalmış came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belo Academy reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Travassos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Augusto de Andrade made a great header on Belo Academy's corner, it was just that WKS Śląsk Wrocław's Volkan Ünalmış managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Travassos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volkan Ünalmış saved WKS Śląsk Wrocław from getting behind. The supporters of WKS Śląsk Wrocław booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
