Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Attilio Pani kicked off to start the match. Attilio Pani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Martin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Emiliano Lucchetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Heli struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Válter Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eket BK. 14 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goalkeeper Válter Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelle Blomquist. In the 15th minute Emiliano Lucchetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match forsal FC got a corner. Eket BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfonso Aquilino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Válter Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Vennersten in the 19th minute of play. Dan Vennersten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Válter Tasso made a huge save. Válter Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Vennersten in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goalkeeper Válter Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelle Blomquist. In the 27th minute Emiliano Lucchetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Martin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. forsal FC's Attilio Pani got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Attilio Pani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jim Martin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Pani in the 30th minute of play. forsal FC's Válter Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save forsal FC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Attilio Pani notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Eket BK's Jim Martin. Jim Martin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Attilio Pani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The forsal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, forsal FC's Arturo Barbanti got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Válter Tasso made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Dan Vennersten sent off a good shot on target. The Eket BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. forsal FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Pelle Blomquist made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Vennersten came free, but Válter Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Dan Vennersten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válter Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Heli in the 65th minute of play forced forsal FC's goalkeeper Válter Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Jim Martin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 70th minute of the match forsal FC got a corner. Eket BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfonso Aquilino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alfonso Aquilino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jim Martin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as forsal FC's Attilio Pani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jim Martin. That made the score 1-3 after 71 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Heli in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válter Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primitivo Heli made a great header on Eket BK's corner, it was just that forsal FC's Válter Tasso managed to reach the ball for a save. 87 minutes into the match, Eket BK's goalkeeper Jim Martin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Pani. In the 92nd minute Dan Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Eket BK fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Eket BK's Pelle Blomquist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The forsal FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing forsal FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
