Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Pelle Blomquist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Vennersten came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eket BK's Jim Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Cunha in the 13th minute of play. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Eket BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arsenio Gipuzkoa took the corner. David Seaman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Blomquist went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Dan Vennersten made a precise shot to the right of David Seaman. Jenipapo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 26 minutes, Aníbal Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jenipapo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Eket BK defense, Vinicio Junior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Martin. The Eket BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Martin should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute Primitivo Heli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márk Sári charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márk Sári the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Eket BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márk Sári to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Alagoano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-3 to the left of a surprised Jim Martin 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Aníbal Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Aníbal Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jenipapo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Martin came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha. But to his dismay, Raphael Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 69th minute, Aníbal Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eket BK's Jim Martin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Martin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Pelle Blomquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, one of Jenipapo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Eket BK's Primitivo Heli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of David Seaman. Vinicio Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jim Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raphael Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Gipuzkoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jim Martin. Eket BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Jenipapo SC got a corner. Eket BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arsenio Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Arcan Siralp to score against Jim Martin in Eket BK's goal. 5-4 after 96 minutes. In the 99th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Arósio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Pelle Blomquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eket BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jenipapo SC.
