Elvio Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Laporte, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Miguel Clijsters scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Luix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Desafio FC's Elvio Luix got control of the ball when Ferdinand Weijnants tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, KFC Vliegplein's Eddy Laporte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elvio Luix. Ferdinand Weijnants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Elvio Luix made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Desafio FC's Ciro Gonsalve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo De Jonge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Desafio FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lázaro Chucho in the 48th minute. The corner ended in Lázaro Chucho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ciro Gonsalve made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ciro Gonsalve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elvio Luix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 59th minute of the match. Teo De Jonge came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Gonsalve slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 91st minute. Teo De Jonge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Gonsalve in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Desafio FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KFC Vliegplein.
