Elvio Luix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnoldo Orgaz. When Desafio FC's Ciro Gonsalve in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Club Atlethico Talleres's Bernardo Tarulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Gonsalve in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Desafio FC were awarded a corner. Lázaro Chucho went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Desafio FC's Lázaro Chucho to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Tarulli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Elvio Luix successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Club Atlethico Talleres were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Desafio FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnoldo Orgaz took the corner. With a little luck, Desafio FC's Elvio Luix got control of the ball when Ranko Kvarantan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Filomeno Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Estavan got free with Elvio Luix in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Club Atlethico Talleres getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ernesto Estavan hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Ranko Kvarantan took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Luix. Elvio Luix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Desafio FC's zone, Filomeno Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Luix came out of the goal and Filomeno Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Luix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Estavan went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Elvio Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ranko Kvarantan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desafio FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnoldo Orgaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlethico Talleres's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Desafio FC's zone, Filomeno Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Luix came out of the goal and Filomeno Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Estavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Luix having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Ranko Kvarantan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Desafio FC's Elvio Luix. Elvio Luix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Club Atlethico Talleres fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Club Atlethico Talleres's Ranko Kvarantan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ranko Kvarantan in the 77th minute of play forced Desafio FC's goalkeeper Elvio Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Ranko Kvarantan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Luix was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Club Atlethico Talleres's Celestino Kepa was substituted for Leandro Cloyo. 88 minutes into the match, Desafio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ranko Kvarantan came free, but Elvio Luix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desafio FC's Elvio Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranko Kvarantan in the 89th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlethico Talleres fully deserved thier win.
