The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Alfa FC's Arthur Varela got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Satordi came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivos Futbol Club's Borek Borok proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Olivos Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Olivos Futbol Club's Borek Borok got control of the ball when Ole-Johan Larsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Aznar in the 12th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivos Futbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesar Aznar in the 13th minute. In the 23rd minute, Astor Pes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Gaitano hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alfa FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ferreirinha Vinhas hit a great ball. Pedrinho de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Satordi in the 34th minute of the match. Urbano Satordi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos Futbol Club. After 41 minutes, Lázaro Galtero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfa FC and the Olivos Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lázaro Galtero hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Selnes came free, but Borek Borok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Cesar Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Aznar scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrinho de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Alfa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olivos Futbol Club were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Urbano Satordi made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Aznar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Aparecido hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sebastian Sein struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Pedrinho de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivos Futbol Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Aznar in the 63rd minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 64 in the game by Sebastian Sein from a close distance when the talented Pedrinho de Queirós managed to make a qualified save. Alfa FC's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Stian Selnes put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Borek Borok. In the 69th minute of the match Alfa FC got a corner. Olivos Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ole-Johan Larsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Alfa FC's corner Ole-Johan Larsen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Borek Borok quite easily take care of the ball. Olivos Futbol Club's Borek Borok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Johan Larsen in the 74th minute of play. With his leg Pedrinho de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Olivos Futbol Club's Sebastian Sein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Borek Borok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Selnes in the 79th minute of play. Pedrinho de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Urbano Satordi sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Ferreirinha Vinhas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Astor Pes charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Pes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alfa FC booed when Olivos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ole-Johan Larsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Borek Borok. Olivos Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olivos Futbol Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
