Zé Roberto Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Speed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guto Jorge. 10 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksawery Winnicki. Michel Haaland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Roberto Chaves having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Ksawery Winnicki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Roceira SC's Michel Haaland got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Alberto de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marcelinho Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Valdo das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Roberto Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto de Salles came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Delfim Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the União Agrícola Barbarense and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roceira SC made a substitution. Lenílson de Almeida replaced Luís Paulo Trevisan. Delfim Melo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ksawery Winnicki put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zé Roberto Chaves. With his leg Zé Roberto Chaves managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Roceira SC's Hulk Speed fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Andrés Maraschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Zé Roberto Chaves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ksawery Winnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zé Roberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto de Salles was the one to do the kick off. Zé Roberto Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulk Speed in the 54th minute of play. When Roceira SC's Michel Haaland in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. União Agrícola Barbarense's Zé Roberto Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Speed in the 56th minute of play. Lenílson de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Lenílson de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Válter Fontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zé Roberto Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Hulk Speed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Roberto Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nilmar Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Zé Roberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Hulk Speed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the União Agrícola Barbarense defense, Válter Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Roberto Chaves. The União Agrícola Barbarense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Roberto Chaves should have stopped the shot. Zé Roberto Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulk Speed's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Válbson Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Rogério Peixoto's late challenge caught a Roceira SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogério Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, União Agrícola Barbarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. After 92nd play minutes Hulk Speed shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Zé Roberto Chaves and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 95th minute Michel Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when União Agrícola Barbarense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roceira SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
