Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnoldo Montrell took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ismael Mingo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Antunes having to interfere. Osmar Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Montrell in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Ovidio Raymundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. XV de Indaial's Osmar Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Montrell in the 24th minute of play. Ovidio Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Ovidio Raymundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Dantel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmar Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Inocente in the 28th minute. XV de Indaial's Osmar Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save XV de Indaial from getting a goal against them. Kaká Moraes came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osmar Antunes could save by the left post. Osmar Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Montrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Josué Galvão fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XV de Indaial's protests and gave Josué Galvão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Josué Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Galvão got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Arnoldo Montrell took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Osmar Antunes to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Didier Penven was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Raymundo. 55 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Inocente came free, but Osmar Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Yan Chong made a precise shot to the right of Osmar Antunes. XV de Indaial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Osmar Antunes came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia Santa Fe's Arnoldo Montrell. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Montrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Yan Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Chong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osmar Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 minutes of play, Valencia Santa Fe's Arnoldo Montrell made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valencia Santa Fe made a substitution. Anders Pettersson replaced Mai Zhi. 83 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Montrell came free, but Osmar Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osmar Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Montrell in the 86th minute of the match. Osmar Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Guedes's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Mao Sheng Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, XV de Indaial's João Augusto Queiroz got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some careless play in the XV de Indaial defense, Arnoldo Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Antunes. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Antunes should have stopped the shot.
