The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kaya Österberg took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Vides. Gustavo Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Kaloyan Dimovski made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Vides. Ponta da Praia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Gustavo Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Häll, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Ponta da Praia FC's Amauri Baptista got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ponta da Praia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Häll came free, but Gustavo Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Hermínio Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celil Çağakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Viktor Orbán recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Vides. Viktor Orbán showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Kurt Olofsson in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ponta da Praia FC's Hermínio Quirino. Carlos Meira's late challenge caught a Djurgården Sthlm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Meira helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Meira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaloyan Dimovski got free with Gustavo Vides in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Orbán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Djurgården Sthlm's Kaloyan Dimovski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Gustavo Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaloyan Dimovski in the 36th minute. Gustavo Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaya Österberg in the 37th minute. Gustavo Vides came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården Sthlm's Kaya Österberg. But to his dismay, Kaya Österberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Orbán in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Hermínio Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaya Österberg in the 61st minute of play. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Orbán in the 65th minute of play. Kaloyan Dimovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Vides having to interfere. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Orbán in the 69th minute of play. Gustavo Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Orbán in the 70th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Kaya Österberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Gustavo Vides was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Ponta da Praia FC defense, Kaya Österberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Vides. The Ponta da Praia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Vides should have stopped the shot. Djurgården Sthlm's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
