The supporters of Encanto booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Osvaldinho Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encanto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Tasso in the 14th minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Erasmo Hames managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encanto's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Hames was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xiboquinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encanto the free kick. The wind increased when Guto Tasso made the kick off in the second half. When Guto Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xiboquinha FC's protests and gave Guto Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. Guto Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Xiboquinha FC's Júlio Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Rocha in the 52nd minute of play. Sílvio Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Encanto's Bernardinho Paes got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Encanto's Osvaldinho Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Linares. Júlio Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Rocha came free, but Júlio Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Veiga got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gilson Madureira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, one of Xiboquinha FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Xiboquinha FC. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Encanto. Bernardinho Paes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Júlio Linares. 2-3. Osvaldinho Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldinho Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head.
