Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but José Paulo Romero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The attack was good, but when Paco Trujillo in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Antônio Carlos da Fonseca made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Downchester City's Romo Hidalgo. Downchester City's Saturnin Darroja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Negri in the 19th minute of play. José Paulo Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paco Trujillo in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Trujillo in the 29th minute of play forced ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goalkeeper José Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paulo Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Paco Trujillo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for José Paulo Romero to make any attempt to save it.

≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Váldson Urbano was substituted for Manuel Negri. 53 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Rezende came free, but Saturnin Darroja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Trujillo in the 60th minute of play forced ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goalkeeper José Paulo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
