Logan McCubbin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Guntademaro Macera made a huge save. Raymond Johnston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guntademaro Macera came out and tried to block the shot, but Raymond Johnston slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Bernardo Colle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 21 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Harold Fraser. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Robledo in the 22nd minute of play. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Robledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Manolo Robledo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Fergus Fairbairn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Luis Sierra in the 29th minute of play. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Robledo in the 30th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Manolo Robledo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Colle in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fergus Fairbairn prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Martin Viñe was substituted for Bernardo Colle. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Viñe made a kick off. Martin Viñe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fergus Fairbairn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Janusz Jeziorkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fergus Fairbairn was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and José Luis Sierra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Luis Sierra really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Guntademaro Macera came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston. But to his dismay, Raymond Johnston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Vaggelis Sofianos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Martin Viñe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Viñe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fergus Fairbairn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Viñe in the 90th minute. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Martin Viñe put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Viñe in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Fairbairn saved Rangers FC from getting behind. The Rangers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
