The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo Gol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harry Mik. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After some careless play in the Tribos defense, Hector Pello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin van der Saar. The Tribos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin van der Saar should have stopped the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Gustavo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Gustavo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tribos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Mik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Mik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gol in the 40th minute of play. Tribos's Adélio Pinhal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iwan van Heiningen, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After 45 played minutes Tribos got a freekick which was hit by Kaan Kayaer. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gustavo Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tribos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Mik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Pello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tribos's attentive Adélio Pinhal managed to snatch the ball when Iwan van Heiningen made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Mik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Gustavo Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cristiano Faria came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tribos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Faria couldn't finish the play. Tribos made a substitution. Zé Paulo da Fonseca replaced Marcel Urbano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Gol in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Mik saved Leiden Spor Kulubu from getting behind. With a little luck, Tribos's Edvin van der Saar got control of the ball when Hector Pello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Mik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Leiden Spor Kulubu got a freekick which was hit by Iwan van Heiningen. Gustavo Gol struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Harry Mik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tribos. In the 81st minute, Gustavo Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tribos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 84 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Mik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tribos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when 石渊文 scored to the left of an out of position Edvin van der Saar, making the score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tribos's zone, 石渊文 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Saar came out of the goal and 石渊文 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Gustavo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Faria struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Harry Mik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tribos. Tribos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
