Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Gol started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Mr.Magoo defense, Gustavo Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Proença. The Mr.Magoo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Proença should have stopped the shot. Torsten Bäcklin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gökhun Ereken's late challenge caught a Mr.Magoo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökhun Ereken helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Tribos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökhun Ereken to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mr.Magoo booed when Tribos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Sjögren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes in the game Pars Yılhan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kazimierz Konopka. Tribos were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Mr.Magoo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedrinho Figueiredo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tribos's corner Cristiano Faria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and César Proença quite easily take care of the ball. After 21 minutes Mr.Magoo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrinho Figueiredo who took care of the corner kick. Tribos's Pedrinho Figueiredo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but César Proença in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Gustavo Gol came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Tribos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Gol couldn't finish the play. If Gustavo Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mr.Magoo's Torsten Bäcklin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcel Urbano in the 37 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gol in the 41st minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper César Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tribos's zone, Pascual Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Saar came out of the goal and Pascual Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Guillermo Ulizes made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gustavo Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Proença was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. César Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Gol went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tribos made a substitution. Zé Paulo da Fonseca replaced Marcel Urbano. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Bäcklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gol in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torsten Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. César Proença stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Gol's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Tribos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedrinho Figueiredo in the 78th minute. Pedrinho Figueiredo made a great header on Tribos's corner, it was just that Mr.Magoo's César Proença managed to reach the ball for a save. 83 minutes into the match, Tribos's Gustavo Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Proença narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Pedrinho Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tribos's Gustavo Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tribos's Adélio Pinhal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pars Yılhan, made in the 90th minute of the game. Adélio Pinhal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Gol went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Chants of Tribos echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mr.Magoo had held the ball for most of the match.
