After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Rolando Estevez got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válbson Rosa made a kick off. Válter Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Tscherner, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Tscherner ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Tscherner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Tscherner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Válter Alagoano having to make a save. When the match was over Karen FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agroboys SM - CIMZ throughout the match.
