After the first half La Scaloneta were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Messi to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dibag Martinez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henrique Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dibag Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Rauvoe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Henrique Morais fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azulgrana 81's protests and gave Henrique Morais a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Leo Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Cirilo Peyo made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Albert Rauvoe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dibag Martinez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Martinez got free with Cirilo Peyo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Messi in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
