The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by General Tanz II's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joseph Österlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Segmon IF's players had a chance to rest. Joseph Österlund made a great header on Segmon IF's corner, it was just that General Tanz II's Hermengildo Tipi managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of General Tanz II booed when Segmon IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meng Chao Ying didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Arsenio Eufrasio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Löfdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Segmon IF from getting a goal against them. Alvise De Rossi came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfons Glad could save by the left post. The corner led General Tanz II's Willian Queirós to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfons Glad despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Basilio Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alfons Glad made a huge save. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Abancens in the 37th minute of play. Hannes Haraldsson made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Dubiel however managed to control. After 43 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Rosin. Alfons Glad was a little too slow when Basilio Abancens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leif Löfdahl was the one to do the kick off. Leif Löfdahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Hermengildo Tipi made a huge save. A collision led to Segmon IF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Allan Deckberg hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Dubiel came free, but Hermengildo Tipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When General Tanz II's Basilio Abancens, in the 67th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for General Tanz II. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Eufrasio in the 70th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Robert Dubiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74thth minute of the game Basilio Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segmon IF's Alfons Glad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute General Tanz II were awarded a corner. Willian Queirós went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Segmon IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Joseph Österlund hit a great ball. Alvise De Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alfons Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Tonete in the 88th minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Eufrasio came free, but Alfons Glad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Hannes Haraldsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97thth minute of the game Basilio Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Segmon IF's Alfons Glad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. General Tanz II fully deserved thier win.
