The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Sefer in the 19th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Olaf Skaradowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Mati Suárez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geraldo Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sefer in the 31st minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Ahmet Sefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Ahmet Sefer made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ahmet Sefer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sefer in the 39th minute of play forced Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dudu Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mati Suárez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rockets fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Geraldo Queiroz came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pantera Azulgrana's Olaf Skaradowski. But to his dismay, Olaf Skaradowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Ahmet Sefer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Geraldo Queiroz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Sefer in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Sefer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Geraldo Queiroz made a huge save. A collision led to La Pantera Azulgrana getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Rolands Schiavi hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded La Pantera Azulgrana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rockets.
