The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Pusiak in the 6th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulryk Merski. Tadeusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Tytus Dylla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 2kC Poznań and the C. A. Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when 2kC Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Dylla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulryk Merski in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Kismi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led 2kC Poznań's Ulryk Merski to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Kismi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Apolo Artizar in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 2kC Poznań's Veijo Väätäinen. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes in the game, Janusz Pusiak fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnoldo Kismi having to interfere. After 37 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Hever. Arnoldo Kismi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Merski in the 38th minute. The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Czeslaw Hoffman got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Eli to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Pusiak came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Ulryk Merski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 2kC Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Janusz Pusiak ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Pusiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Janusz Pusiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 2kC Poznań fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 68th play minutes Janusz Pusiak shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Arnoldo Kismi and just under the crossbar into goal. Arnoldo Kismi came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol. But to his dismay, Lucjan Sokol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Lucjan Sokol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Kismi having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, Lucjan Sokol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Sokol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Janusz Pusiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 2kC Poznań fans cheered their team off the field, for while C. A. Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
