Şinasi Derem started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Şinasi Derem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Babeș hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Thiago Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şinasi Derem, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Şinasi Derem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petr Čech. SCs StarS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şinasi Derem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thiago Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Beniamin Bendyk made a huge save. Thiago Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beniamin Bendyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Şinasi Derem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. FC juveMET's Beniamin Bendyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC juveMET from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Kalidou Koulibaly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, FC juveMET's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Dirks came free, but Beniamin Bendyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mecnun Seha in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jordy Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCs StarS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordy Dirks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beniamin Bendyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Thiago Gol made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC juveMET's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Beniamin Bendyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beniamin Bendyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 56th minute of play forced FC juveMET's goalkeeper Beniamin Bendyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordy Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 played minutes SCs StarS got a freekick which was hit by Florian Hekman. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barbaros Hisar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Gol in the 68th minute of play forced FC juveMET's goalkeeper Beniamin Bendyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beniamin Bendyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Hekman in the 72nd minute of the match. Beniamin Bendyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Hekman in the 74th minute of play. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Barbaros Hisar with Alişan Tuğbay as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Beniamin Bendyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy Dirks, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Thiago Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC juveMET's Beniamin Bendyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, SCs StarS's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Kalidou Koulibaly tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 95 minutes play.
