Anier Tano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Melis's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Anier Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Costandache in the 5th minute of play. Anier Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Melis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Gică Costandache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Frank Melis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sebastián Sosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Nistor Filipoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FC Inter Sibiu were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of FC Inter Sibiu booed when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Melis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anier Tano. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Lertxun during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casimiro Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. FC Inter Sibiu's Eusebiu Tuleiu was substituted for Sorin Manciu. In the 69th minute, Casimiro Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
