The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Petar Solunčevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Karanowski came out of the goal and Petar Solunčevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Maura came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Murillo do Valle. But to his dismay, Murillo do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 14th minute Murillo do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Murillo do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DREAM ALBANIA's Isidoro Maura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Valério Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match, Marjan Zlatanovski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mieszko Karanowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo do Valle in the 32nd minute of play forced DREAM ALBANIA's goalkeeper Isidoro Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marjan Zlatanovski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 34th playminute. 37 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Grabinski came free, but Mieszko Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Grabinski in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mieszko Karanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Faria. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petar Solunčevski in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murillo do Valle was the one to do the kick off. Mieszko Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Grabinski in the 52nd minute of the match. Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Grabinski in the 54th minute of play.
