The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dário Toscano hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenik Hoffhuis in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Murillo do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Oldenborger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Toledo came free, but Peter Oldenborger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Murillo do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Bults. Peter Oldenborger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Pedro Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marzagão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mieszko Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 21st minute. Peter Oldenborger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Murillo do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo do Valle in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Oldenborger saved MK Investments from getting behind. Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik Hoffhuis in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Mieszko Karanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Murillo do Valle made the kick off in the second half. Jimmie Cai charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mieszko Karanowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Poremba's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 67 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Ignatius. 69 minutes into the match, Murillo do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Oldenborger. MK Investments's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Murillo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marzagão's Domingos Santiago was substituted for Murillo do Valle. 79 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Waclaw Poremba came free, but Mieszko Karanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Santiago in the 81st minute of play forced MK Investments's goalkeeper Peter Oldenborger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Oosterveld's late challenge caught a Marzagão's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Oosterveld helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Marzagão booed when MK Investments was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Oosterveld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Oldenborger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Santiago in the 84th minute of the match. Domingos Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marzagão's attack was well implemented in the 88th minute, but when Domingos Santiago was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Toledo got free with Peter Oldenborger in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Toledo's late challenge caught a MK Investments's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Pascal Bults blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mieszko Karanowski having to make a save.
