Baltasar Guerrero started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Baltasar Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Lopes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ergo Muro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Juanita. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Guerrero in the 20th minute of play. Ergo Muro came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Juanita's Orlando Macerio. But to his dismay, Orlando Macerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute Orlando Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Juanita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benigno Lopes in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Club Atletico Juanita's Placido Gitano got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Merexildo in the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes Caatiba MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benigno Lopes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Benigno Lopes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ergo Muro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Club Atletico Juanita's Placido Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 52nd minute of play. Caatiba MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Henrique in the 53rd minute. The corner ended in Jorge Henrique almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Juanita's Placido Gitano did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 56th minute of play forced Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Placido Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergo Muro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Macerio in the 61st minute. Orlando Macerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ergo Muro made a huge save. Niceto Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Gitano having to make a save. In the 65th minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ergo Muro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Merexildo in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Baltasar Guerrero made a precise shot to the right of Ergo Muro. Caatiba MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Guerrero in the 75th minute of play. A hard shot 76 in the game by Orlando Macerio from a close distance when the talented Ergo Muro managed to make a qualified save. Caatiba MZC's players were relieved. 78 minutes into the match, Niceto Ihazintu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Atletico Juanita's Placido Gitano. Placido Gitano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Macerio might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ergo Muro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Macerio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahto Klausen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Club Atletico Juanita's Baltasar Guerrero in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caatiba MZC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Club Atletico Juanita booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Club Atletico Juanita supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Atletico Juanita would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
