Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Jansson in the 12th minute of play. If Rigoberto Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Kårböle IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Thomas came free, but Ball Glue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Santa Maradona's Rigoberto Thomas in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Axel Jonsson to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Transito in the 76th minute of play forced Kårböle IFK's goalkeeper Ball Glue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ball Glue came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Rigoberto Thomas. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Åberg came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ball Glue came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Rigoberto Thomas. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kårböle IFK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
