The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, HFA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Gerber came free, but Gordon Banks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gordon Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrosko Lechem in the 9th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Zézinho Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HFA FC's Gordon Banks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermengildo Gorka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Tomasz Panikowski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, HFA FC's Alfonso Pacifico got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 17th play minutes Sebastian Turi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Tomasz Panikowski and just under the crossbar into goal. Tomasz Panikowski came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by HFA FC's Hermengildo Gorka. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Gorka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tomasz Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. De la Sotta in the 31st minute of play forced TS Barca Skawina's goalkeeper Tomasz Panikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Alfonso Pacifico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomasz Panikowski. Alfonso Pacifico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Gordon Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Gerber in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Zézinho Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Gorka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tomasz Panikowski made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arrosko Lechem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dániel Farkas in the 57th minute of play forced HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De la Sotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in C.J. De la Sotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TS Barca Skawina's Tomasz Panikowski did a great save. Gordon Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dániel Farkas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Dániel Farkas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gordon Banks was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Gordon Banks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slawomir Mindykowski in the 87th minute. Zézinho Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gordon Banks made a huge save. Many of TS Barca Skawina's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. TS Barca Skawina may have spent more time on the ball, but HFA FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
