The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Örjan Forssell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedykt Kajfasz was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Benedykt Kajfasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Walkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After 54 played minutes ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Enetz. Benedykt Kajfasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 85 played minutes ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 got a freekick which was hit by Erik Linares. Benedykt Kajfasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Forssell in the 93rd minute. After having played for 98 minutes, Örjan Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Forssell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
