Jonny Almqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hudiksvalls United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Waller in the 31st minute of play. Rab Uba in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonny Almqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Rab Uba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rab Uba took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonny Almqvist. Jonny Almqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 40th minute, Rab Uba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonny Almqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 47 minutes into the game, Lia Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonny Almqvist. Lia Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
When Fabrizio Canzano fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Gordiani's protests and gave Fabrizio Canzano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Fabrizio Canzano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls United's Ingvar Hökkvist made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Casillas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lia Marquez took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonny Almqvist. Jonny Almqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When Ingvar Hökkvist came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Hudiksvalls United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Hökkvist couldn't finish the play. Jonny Almqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lia Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's Ingvar Hökkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Casillas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonny Almqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lia Marquez in the 66th minute of play. If Ingvar Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Rab Uba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonny Almqvist. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rab Uba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. In the 76th minute Marcus Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Villa Gordiani defense, Marcus Waller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Casillas. The Villa Gordiani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Casillas should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Rab Uba notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist. Jonny Almqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rab Uba in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Almqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Rab Uba put it in 9-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonny Almqvist. Lia Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Almqvist having to interfere. Ingvar Hökkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hudiksvalls United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Esposito was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Gordiani's players had a chance to rest. Villa Gordiani walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
