In the 5th match minute, Albins Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Otang Irawan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Jönsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Canzano in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Amadeu Bacelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albins Kamrater's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Bacelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Canzano. Jan-Åke Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Canzano in the 13th minute. When Amadeu Bacelar came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Albins Kamrater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Bacelar couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Bacelar came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Bacelar scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Casillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Canzano in the 21st minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arrigo Marrone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Albins Kamrater's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lia Marquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amadeu Bacelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Iker Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernst Vikström's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Amadeu Bacelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Amadeu Bacelar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Ernst Vikström made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Åke Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lia Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Gordiani from getting a goal against them. The corner led Albins Kamrater's Thomas Lundberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Iker Casillas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Villa Gordiani from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Vikström in the 67th minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amadeu Bacelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernst Vikström's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Albins Kamrater's Jan-Åke Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rab Uba in the 77th minute of play. Albins Kamrater's attentive Davide Allemandi managed to snatch the ball when Philippe Albert made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Villa Gordiani defense, Amadeu Bacelar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Casillas. The Villa Gordiani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Casillas should have stopped the shot. Albins Kamrater's Krister Rudkvist was substituted for Amadeu Bacelar. In the 86th minute, Albins Kamrater's Krister Rudkvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iker Casillas. Iker Casillas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Fabrizio Canzano took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Åke Jönsson. Jan-Åke Jönsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 94 played minutes Albins Kamrater got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lundberg. Albins Kamrater were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Villa Gordiani's much stronger midfield.
