Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Gaitano in the 3rd minute of play. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Gaitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juan Ayuso came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Decathlon Dudes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Ayuso couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Luisito Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ayuso came free, but Carlo Amadei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Decathlon Dudes got a corner. Las Momias F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luuk Theunissen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Simon Hilhorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Amadei having to interfere. Rogelio Fernado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but César Sousa made a huge save. Carlo Amadei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Hilhorst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Ayuso struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Carlo Amadei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Decathlon Dudes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Fernado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Juan Ayuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Amadei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Decathlon Dudes were awarded a corner. Luuk Theunissen went to the cornerflag to take it. Juan Ayuso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Amadei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Mauricio Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Fernado hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Mauricio Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Jerico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaas Zwartkruis charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaas Zwartkruis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Zwartkruis didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Jerico in the 76th minute of the match. Carlo Amadei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Ayuso, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Zwartkruis. Las Momias F. C. made a substitution. Matheus Nascimento replaced Aristides Frederik. Klaas Zwartkruis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Jerico came free, but César Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Ayuso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Hilhorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Luuk Theunissen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Luuk Theunissen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Amadei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
