In the 11th minute, Tadeusz Dziechciowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC ANC booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Hubina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Odman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sakura Storm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ANC the free kick. After 16 played minutes Sakura Storm got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Odman. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zakir Novruzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zakir Novruzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Kjellman in the 26th minute of play. Artemio Quiroga scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zakir Novruzov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Karl-Oskar Odman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Quiroga came free, but Zakir Novruzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marvelous Ronaldinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Sakura Storm's players had a chance to rest. Manole Bordeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov got control of the ball when Artemio Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tadeusz Dziechciowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded FC ANC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sakura Storm.
