Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Barros in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Arrigo Alonzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bassa Valle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Squad FC the free kick. A collision led to Bassa Valle FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Arrigo Alonzi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Barros in the 37th minute of play forced Bassa Valle FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Mazzocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bassa Valle FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Carlo Iacovacci hit a great ball. Eugenio Mazzocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Barros in the 40th minute of the match. Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Tadeu Cosme might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Mazzocco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeu Cosme ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd match minute, Bassa Valle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Iacovacci to maneuver through the defense. Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bassa Valle FC from getting a goal against them. Adriano Pallini kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Eugenio Mazzocco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeu Cosme's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Gordon Forrest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal and Gordon Forrest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francesco Corna during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bassa Valle FC made a substitution. Andrea Lio replaced Arrigo Alonzi. Francesco Corna hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With his leg Eugenio Mazzocco managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
