Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Adriano Pallini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Bassa Valle FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Mazzocco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Irigoyen. After 10 minutes, Apolo Irigoyen made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Renato Goycolea made a great header on General Velásquez's corner, it was just that Bassa Valle FC's Eugenio Mazzocco managed to reach the ball for a save. Eugenio Mazzocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Guntademaro Goyenechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Mazzocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Di Toro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dario Di Toro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Adriano Pallini charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Pallini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Bassa Valle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Pallini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Eugenio Mazzocco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Zarpas Jons got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eugenio Mazzocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Renato Goycolea hit a great ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Gordon Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bassa Valle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon Forrest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Di Toro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Eugenio Mazzocco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Renato Goycolea. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Guntademaro Goyenechea took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Eugenio Mazzocco to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Forrest in the 48th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guntademaro Goyenechea made a kick off. Eugenio Mazzocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 53rd minute of play. Apolo Irigoyen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Mazzocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Švácha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. General Velásquez's Apolo Irigoyen got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Mazzocco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. General Velásquez's Johny De Raeijmaecker was substituted for Renato Goycolea. 71 minutes into the game, Jorge Vicente Squella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eugenio Mazzocco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guntademaro Goyenechea scored 4-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Mazzocco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 played minutes Bassa Valle FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Di Toro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 81st minute of play forced Bassa Valle FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Mazzocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Bassa Valle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Vicente Squella came free, but Eugenio Mazzocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Mazzocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Squella, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vicente Squella to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Mazzocco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 96 minutes of play Bassa Valle FC's Dario Di Toro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dario Di Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. General Velásquez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
