Koen Rijmenams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Raschke in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when KKS Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Kosakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Bartolo Bachicabo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roch Brodzki. The goal made the score 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Piekarczyk came free, but Koen Rijmenams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Fortun Corrillos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roch Brodzki. The goal made the score 3-0. With a little luck, KKS Lech Poznań's Roch Brodzki got control of the ball when Fortun Corrillos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Kempka came free, but Koen Rijmenams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Bogdan Raschke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KKS Lech Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Raschke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fortun Corrillos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Roch Brodzki made a huge save. After 40 minutes KKS Lech Poznań's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rik Quexada who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Oylimpiamos Ψ's corner Rik Quexada fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roch Brodzki quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Piekarczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

KKS Lech Poznań made a substitution. Radomil Murdza replaced Walery Plech. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walery Kempka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Piekarczyk in the 52nd minute of play forced Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalkeeper Koen Rijmenams to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roch Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Bachicabo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Robustiano Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roch Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortun Corrillos in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortun Corrillos in the 62nd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Roch Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walery Kempka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortun Corrillos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Selatse Cantillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Roch Brodzki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oylimpiamos Ψ made a substitution. Kiko Pirani replaced Bartolo Bachicabo. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Gregory Neila was substituted for Fortun Corrillos. When Walery Kempka came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the KKS Lech Poznań fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Kempka couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Selatse Cantillo made a precise shot to the right of Roch Brodzki. KKS Lech Poznań's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. KKS Lech Poznań's Roch Brodzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Peruanton in the 86th minute of play. Kiko Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Koen Rijmenams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomil Murdza in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Robustiano Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roch Brodzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Zula Werra hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Rik Quexada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oylimpiamos Ψ fans cheered their team off the field, for while KKS Lech Poznań had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
