Spectators: 7546 (Terracing: 5661, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filip Soetemans took the kick off in the first half of the match. Delmar Checa came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Henrik Henriksson. But to his dismay, Henrik Henriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Delmar Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Henriksson in the 11th minute of play. Delmar Checa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Soetemans went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Filip Soetemans struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Delmar Checa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahce ISTANBUL. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Hu Jian Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Nowak in the 21st minute of play. Delmar Checa was a little too slow when Filip Soetemans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. Delmar Checa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filip Soetemans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Henriksson in the 33rd minute of play forced La Plata's goalkeeper Delmar Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Checa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sándor Nagy, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Delmar Checa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delmar Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Soetemans in the 43rd minute of play. Stefan Zweig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Gabrio to make the kick off. Henrik Henriksson took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Checa. Delmar Checa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Filip Soetemans scored 6-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Checa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filip Soetemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Zweig in the 57th minute of play forced La Plata's goalkeeper Delmar Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Soetemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Filip Soetemans sped through La Plata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmar Checa. In the 67th minute, Constantino Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Plata getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Constantino Curcio hit a great ball. Constantino Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Stefan Zweig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Soetemans in the 75th minute of play forced La Plata's goalkeeper Delmar Checa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Federico Chiesa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Delmar Checa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erubiel Hotz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Stefan Zweig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Plata getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jerzy Kinic hit a great ball. Federico Chiesa missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 93 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Delmar Checa right hand side. In the 97th minute, Olgierd Wojtowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
