Rolando Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Hilario Gabrio sent off a good shot on target. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice moves Guillermo Eguen could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Delmar Checa however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute Bartosz Nowak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baldomiro Orixe fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Plata's protests and gave Baldomiro Orixe a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Odon might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Checa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Odon ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmar Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Odon in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartolo Leoiar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmar Checa. That made the score 2-4 in the 62 minute of play. In the 67th match minute, PGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Charro to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Gabrio in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Guillermo Eguen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delmar Checa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 72 minutes, Hilario Gabrio made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hilario Gabrio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rolando Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Plata. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Gabrio in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Merexildo saved PGE FC from getting behind. After 85 minutes PGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Froilan Garcia who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute, Hilario Gabrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Merexildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. 91 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Gabrio came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Eriberto Charro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Plata the free kick. Eriberto Charro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. PGE FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing La Plata to leave the ground with a draw.
