With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anis Achour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Sorriva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás San Juan in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute, Symba's Tomás San Juan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Sorriva. Antonio Sorriva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Felix Larren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sociedad Anónima's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Larren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anis Achour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute of the match Sociedad Anónima got a corner. Symba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niva Bruna ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tulio Bringas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Symba's Anis Achour did a great save. In the 20th minute, Velasco Rollan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anis Achour was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
