The Yofré AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Venancio Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Ganix in the 20th minute of the match. Myles Powderham kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma got control of the ball when Mateo Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal and Ernesto Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Yofré AFC booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Uplegger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Facundo Feria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venancio Cesario saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 63 minutes, Axel Uplegger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PERSPOLIS and the Yofré AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Preto scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
