Tostão de Queirós in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão de Queirós to make the kick off. The supporters of ARAUCARIA FC booed when Gülce Leyla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabit Hancı didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Pires. 87 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gunther Stub came free, but Dida Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Gülce Leyla's Gunther Stub in the 89th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dida Gröhe was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for ARAUCARIA FC through an amazing save. ARAUCARIA FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
