An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Jon in the 5th minute of play forced Buitenhout FC's goalkeeper Tudor Mihoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Mei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjaak Degens in the 7th minute of the match. Pablo Mei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferry Hebels in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute of the match, Koos Alberts got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pablo Mei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Koos Albertss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Pablo Mei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the game, David Jans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Mei. David Jans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koos Alberts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Buitenhout FC's Koos Alberts made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Mei was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferry Hebels. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Amato to strike the kick off in the second half. David Jans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. After having played for 52 minutes, Koos Alberts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buitenhout FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koos Alberts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjaak Degens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Plaza Jewell's Emanuel Igon got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes, Buitenhout FC's Toni Schirring shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Mei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buitenhout FC reached it. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferry Hebels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Koos Alberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Mei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Buitenhout FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Plaza Jewell had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
