In the 10th minute of the match Vérsárkány SE got a corner. Cheeky Nuts United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tibor Kun ran over to the corner to take the kick. 12 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Tálas came free, but Olof Skretting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Csongor Tálas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olof Skretting. Bandit Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon-Erik Vedøy in the 16th minute. Alf Austad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olof Skretting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Kun in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 minutes, Tibor Kun made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Skretting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nimród Tálas in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nimród Tálas to make the kick off. In the 81st match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Király to maneuver through the defense. Stathis Konstantakis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Bandit Sarap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheeky Nuts United. In the 84th minute, Tibor Kun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olof Skretting was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.
