In the 17th minute, Juraj Múdry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evren Serkut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Evren Serkut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Walczak in the 27th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Talamanca to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in LOTUS's zone, Iordache Opincaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evren Serkut came out of the goal and Iordache Opincaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Juraj Múdry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evren Serkut, 0-12. Iordache Opincaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Evren Serkut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LOTUS's Evren Serkut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minor Talamanca in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, LOTUS's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Talamanca came free, but Evren Serkut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91stth minute of the game David Talamanca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOTUS's Evren Serkut was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Minor Talamanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
