With an all-out effort, Rasnita's Yıldırım Yaman threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alex Cunea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Yıldırım Yaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rareș Vanghelie in the 6th minute of play. Yıldırım Yaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Cunea, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe defense, Radu Macri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. The Fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yıldırım Yaman should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Toacsen in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldırım Yaman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes Alex Cunea rounded Fenerbahçe's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Toacsen. 20 minutes into the match, Radu Macri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radu Macri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Rareș Vanghelie came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Rasnita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Vanghelie couldn't finish the play. Rasnita's Emanuel Onea was substituted for Gigel Uncheşu. In the 28th minute, Oğuzalp Ak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Vanghelie in the 29th minute of play. Rasnita were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Fenerbahçe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horaţiu Chelbea took the corner. The corner led Rasnita's Horaţiu Chelbea to fire away a dangerous shot which Yıldırım Yaman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Macri in the 36th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Aras Daman got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Sebastian Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Yaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Vanghelie got free with Yıldırım Yaman in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Cunea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yıldırım Yaman. That made the score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cunea came free, but Yıldırım Yaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe defense, Alex Cunea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. The Fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yıldırım Yaman should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aras Daman made the kick off in the second half. Tuncer İribaş struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Flavius Ferenț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. Radu Macri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute, Sebastian Toacsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rasnita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Toacsen in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Alex Cunea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Yaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute Evren Tanfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
