City Friseur Wuppertal were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Rakkestad IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldemar Ryback took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Hüseyin Rahmi Uçanok heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabiano Ornelas made a kick off. Waldemar Ryback took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christophe Pourre. Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Ornelas got free with Xu Yi Lei in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xu Yi Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albi Martínez in the 63rd minute of play forced Rakkestad IF's goalkeeper Christophe Pourre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Ryback was slow to take the kick. During this time City Friseur Wuppertal's players had a chance to rest. Albi Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xu Yi Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Hylland in the 74th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Ryback came free, but Christophe Pourre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Waldemar Ryback left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The City Friseur Wuppertal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Robert Pirès received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Xu Yi Lei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Joachim Hylland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xu Yi Lei. City Friseur Wuppertal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Hylland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. City Friseur Wuppertal had won after a very even match.
