Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taras Romanchuk ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute Taras Romanchuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Taras Romanchuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taras Romanchuk in the 35th minute of play forced MaLe FC's goalkeeper Joel Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taras Romanchuk in the 36th minute of the match. Joel Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taras Romanchuk in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Taras Romanchuk notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of MaLe FC's Joel Alén. Joel Alén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of MaLe FC booed when Fundação Marques dos Reis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taras Romanchuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The MaLe FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fundação Marques dos Reis were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Nunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taras Romanchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Alén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Taras Romanchuk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. In the 73rd minute Filipe Viveiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Alén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taras Romanchuk's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Taras Romanchuk in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joel Alén, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alfred Elvins hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Alfred Elvins got a free kick in the 88th minute. Taras Romanchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Alén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Juninho Pernambucano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Diogo Cabral was substituted for Taras Romanchuk. When the match was over Fundação Marques dos Reis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MaLe FC throughout the match.
