When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Luciano Pirro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Joel Alén to make any attempt to save it. Cornelio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Elvins, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. MaLe FC's Joel Alén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save MaLe FC from getting a goal against them. Luciano Pirro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Alén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. MaLe FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Racing Club's Miroslaw Jajecznica to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Alén despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luciano Pirro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joel Alén came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Pirro slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. Joel Alén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Pirro's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Luciano Pirro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Alén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Cornelio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Elvins in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Umberto Nunes to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luciano Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Alén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miroslaw Jajecznica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Alén having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Luciano Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Alén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Racing Club's Homer Field was substituted for Miroslaw Jajecznica. Cornelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Nunes in the 65th minute of play. Ante Rebić hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Homer Field fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Alén having to interfere. In the 71st minute Ramiro Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Joel Alén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ramiro Lano hit a great ball. Racing Club's Cornelio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Nunes in the 79th minute of play. Alfred Elvins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cornelio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Nevada was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Homer Field got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 7-0. 94 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Club fully deserved thier win.
