After 23 minutes of play, FC Montana's Hektor Hasan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 32nd minute of the match, Jeraldo Duñabeitia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aydın Mehmet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anfilogino Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After the first half FC Montana were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Hektor Hasan got free with Anfilogino Fantini in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Montana's Gürsel Sirer got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, FC Montana's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Arbieto came free, but Aydın Mehmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Mariachi FC's Rainerio Tassara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aydın Mehmet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4.
