The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Măgură got free with Karl-Johan Ahlqvist in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Marius Ganea made the kick off in the second half. Andrei Pavel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaufred Betanzos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Berriotxoa in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Gaufred Betanzos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Pavel. FC Fanaticii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaufred Betanzos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Black Rose 1979's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
