Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Leicester Lions's Tod Freeman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tod Freeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bennis's Benny Svensk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Michal Budzyn in the 7 minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Cain Velasquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bennis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ralf Norström hit a great ball. Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Rhodes in the 19th minute of play. Camron Rhodes scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Vase, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Cain Velasquez came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Bennis's goalkeeper Marcus Vase had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camron Rhodes. Camron Rhodes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcus Vase made a huge save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Wassenius made a great header on Bennis's corner, it was just that Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell managed to reach the ball for a save. Mike Wadham charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Wadham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Budzyn to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Jack Sharp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bennis's Lucas Ekrot tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Åke Hallgren made a kick off. Camron Rhodes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcus Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şükür Hagi in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Bennis booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Plučinský didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Bennis's Grant Blacknell threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Ekrot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Bennis got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Mattsson. Qiu De Wen made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by John Peacock. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cain Velasquez in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Kvick got free with Grant Blacknell in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Qiu De Wen with John Peacock as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 91 minutes into the game, Lucas Ekrot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bennis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester Lions the free kick. The supporters of Leicester Lions booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Michal Budzyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Vase showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bennis's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
