Andrei Pavel was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Svante Gustafsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Svante Gustafsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Andrei Pavel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Teles in the 12th minute of the match. Andrei Pavel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Bo Sundén sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the FC Fanaticii defense, Svante Gustafsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrei Pavel. The FC Fanaticii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrei Pavel should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Salem Gunners BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils Smitt. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Marius Ganea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fanaticii's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Ganea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prodromos Britzolidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Cícero Teles could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Andrei Pavel however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero Teles got free with Andrei Pavel in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cícero Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Andrei Pavel made a huge save. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Gustafsson in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Șerban Nanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fanaticii and the Salem Gunners BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Nanu. After recieving a nice pass, Salem Gunners BK's Viggo Berggren tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Fanaticii from getting a goal against them.

In the 51st minute Bo Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Gustafsson in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes FC Fanaticii's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viggo Berggren who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Fanaticii's goalie and right to Emil Uggla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Fanaticii's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Teles in the 57th minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Teles came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Gustafsson in the 64th minute of play. Andrei Pavel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Andrei Pavel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cícero Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. Ernest Poplăcean hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Teles came free, but Andrei Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Svante Gustafsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Åke Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Svante Gustafsson scored 4-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Pavel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salem Gunners BK's Cícero Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Salem Gunners BK's Stig-Åke Alkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrei Pavel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svante Gustafsson in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Pavel saved FC Fanaticii from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Alkvist in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Salem Gunners BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
